Robusta coffee is bold and delicious with a sweet aftertaste. Robusta has become the first choice of coffee addicts. It is not as sour as Arabica coffee, but has the balance and richness for a premium cup of coffee.
ORIGIN
Robusta coffee was first discovered in the Congo, in the 1800s, afterwhich it was introduced globally into regions such as Borneo, Polynesia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Jamaica. In 1900, Robusta coffee trees were imported to Southeast Asia and propagated and cultivated in Dak Lak Province, and throughout Vietnam’s Central Highlands.
Arabica Typica specialty coffee is grown on fertile basan soil in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, at an elevation of 1200 to 1600 meters.
